Our Story
Drake's Island Hauling & Demo LLC For as long as I can remember, Wells and Drakes Island has been a part of my life. We've always cherished this region and hoped to call it home someday. In 2021, we bought a house on Drakes Island and made it our permanent residence at the end of 2024. Throughout late 2024 and well into 2025, we dedicated ourselves to renovating what would become our forever-home. Now, we're excited to launch a small business serving York County, focused on helping homeowners care for their properties and enjoy a high quality of life. Our passion for the area inspires us, and we look forward to supporting your property goals and delivering great results.
Our service spans residential and commercial needs—from Landscape material delivery to disposing of construction debris and yard waste. We can also assist with property/estate cleanouts, as well as handling heavy appliances and furniture removal. We believe in helping our neighbors reclaim or renovate their space with ease and professionalism. Construction Debris: Hauling away materials from renovation sites, such as drywall, wood scraps, tiles, and old flooring.
Appliance & Furniture Disposal: Removal of heavy items like refrigerators, ovens, sofas, and mattresses.
Commercial Services: Specialized removal of furniture and equipment within offices, warehouses, retail spaces, assisted living facilities, hotels and property management firms.
Contractor Services: Call to inquire for our daily rates for leaving our trailer on site for you.
Our Services
Estate Cleanouts
Full-service haul-away for property and or estate cleanouts, including old furniture, appliances, and attic junk.
We will also remove your items and deliver to the donation destination of your choice within York County.
Light Demolition
We specialize in demolition, which involves careful dismantling of smaller structures or interior components rather than the destruction of large buildings.
Small Structure Removal: Demolition of sheds, detached garages, and small barns.
Outdoor Structures: Removal of wooden decks, fencing, and pergolas.
Recreational Items: hot tubs, above-ground pools, and swing sets.
Interior Demo: "Gutting" services for kitchens, bathrooms, or basements to
prepare for remodeling.
